Ms. Starling's students put their creativity, problem-solving, and writing skills to work during their Week 6 Savvas project as they tackled the challenge of improving a playground!
Students identified playground equipment that could be made safer, explained the problem, and proposed thoughtful solutions. Then they took their ideas from paper to reality by designing and building models of their improved playgrounds! From safer swings and spinning equipment to redesigned soccer goals and zip lines, these Panthers had some fantastic ideas.
We love seeing students think critically, communicate their ideas, design solutions, and CREATE! ❤️🖤
Way to go, Ms. Starling's class! There are truly Endless PAWSibilities when our Panthers put their minds to work! 🐾

What a PAWSOME September PAWS & Applause Pep Session!
Our City Park Panthers celebrated our August PAWSitive Panthers for showing RESPECT and our September PAWSitive Panthers for demonstrating RESPONSIBILITY. We cheered for every grade level, recognized our Cheer Club, enjoyed some friendly teacher challenges, welcomed PAWS and PAWZ, and celebrated being part of one Panther community!
We also learned an important lesson: Applause isn’t something we get—it’s something we give. When we recognize others’ hard work, responsible choices, and accomplishments, we help make our entire school community stronger.
Visit our Facebook album to see all the fun, smiles, teamwork, and Panther pride from our September celebration!

Hands-On Learning: Tasty Soil Lab Fun!
Science was extra sweet in Ms. Chavez and Mrs. Hall’s classes! Our young scientists got hands-on experience exploring the layers of soil—by making delicious cup treats! Using chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, and gummy worms, students built and inspected their own tasty "dirt" models to learn how soil works.
