Students in Mrs. Holmes’s third grade class are learning how to write “How-To” books! With Ms. Miller, their student teacher, students followed classmates’ directions for making a sandwich and learned that details are important,, or you may not get the results you expect!

At the end students made their own sandwiches and enjoyed them!

Our REACH Ambassadors and Mrs. Tighe’s second grade class helped restock the Wildcat Pantry, a special resource that supports our Westwood families.

A huge thank you to Cate Cody, a former Westwood student, for her generous donation! As part of a service project, Cate chose to give back to her former elementary school and make a difference in the lives of current Wildcats. 🐾

To wrap up their Five Senses unit, Mrs. Smith’s Pre-K class had a fun five senses popcorn tasting! 🍿

Students used their senses to explore and describe the popcorn, what they saw, heard, smelled, tasted, and felt. They had so much fun being little scientists and sharing their observations!

Our Wildcats spent the day learning about the Constitution in fun and creative ways! Fourth graders enjoyed a visit from the Daughters of the American Revolution, who read to them and shared about the Constitution. In Art, students created their own Constitution, PE students participated in Preamble Relays, and REACH classes watched a video and learned why the Constitution is important.

Our 4th Grade DLI students learned about the parts of the Constitution and made an edible flag! 🇺🇸
