Today marked the very first meeting of the 2025 Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council!

We are so excited to welcome student leaders from across grade levels who will share their voices and perspectives to help shape the future of Dalton Public Schools.

In today’s session, students met with Superintendent Dr. Craft and Associate Superintendent of Student Services Dr. Shaw and explored positive ways Dalton Public Schools GA can implement the new Distraction-Free Personal Device State Law. Their ideas will help us focus on opportunities to enhance learning and keep students engaged in the classroom.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see the incredible ideas this group will share throughout the year!

Come support our HCMS Tiger Theatre Troupe as they perform our 2025 Fall play, Winnie the Pooh KIDS. This is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun.

Tickets are $10. Our students have been working very hard, and we are very proud of them! Please join us and support these young performers! All proceeds from this production go directly towards our drama and choir students going to Disney World over Spring Break!

Sunday, October 19th at 2:30pm

Mary Lois is one of the most uplifting athletes on our team. She’s always encouraging her teammates, doing what it takes to improve, and going the extra mile to help her coaches. We are so thankful to have her on the team!
