PAWetry Highlight: Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
As we prepare to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we’re taking time to reflect on his powerful message of hope, courage, service, and justice.
This week’s PAWetry Highlight celebrates the legacy of a leader who reminded the world that change begins with kindness, unity, and standing up for what is right—even when it’s hard.
We’re proud of our students for learning to use their voices through many tools to share what they’ve learned and what they believe in. 🌟

Dear City Park School Families,
We want to make you aware of a situation that occurred at City Park School earlier today.
To support a student who needed assistance, the school briefly implemented a temporary lockdown. This step was taken to allow staff to respond appropriately while maintaining a calm and safe environment for everyone on campus.
At no time was there a threat to students or staff. The situation was addressed promptly by school administration, and normal operations resumed shortly thereafter.
We are thankful for the quick response and continued partnership of our local law enforcement agencies, who responded rapidly to support the school and were available should their assistance have been needed.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we take thoughtful steps to care for students and maintain a secure learning environment.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office.
