Our youngest students had a special treat today—a fun and energetic juggling performance provided courtesy of the O.N. Jonas Foundation! The engaging show entertained and inspired our Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students while introducing them to the art of juggling and performance.
The O.N. Jonas Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children through educational and cultural experiences. Their mission is to provide opportunities that spark curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning outside the classroom.
We are grateful to the O.N. Jonas Foundation for bringing this exciting experience to our K-2 students! Grades 3-5 will enjoy a similar experience at a later date in the year!

Our student council participated in a retreat today where they learned the proper care of the American flag from Officers Johnson and Ruiz. They also met with members of the Dalton High School Student Council. They engaged in some ice breaker activities and gained insight about what it means to be a student leader. The high school students collaborated with our Panther representatives to create posters to support and advertise for our upcoming Unity Day. They ended the day in the Helping Hands End Hunger program sorting and counting yams and ears of corn just in time for the PAWtumn cooking! It was a great experience, and we appreciate all who partnered with us today to make this experience happen for these student leaders!

📚🐺 Exciting learning is happening in Ms. Guerrero’s classroom!
This week, students are diving into the Savvas weekly passage "Wolf Island" and they’re doing it in a PAWerful way! 🐾
Using small groups and the parallel co-teaching model, students are getting more focused support while they read.
👏 A big shoutout to Ms. Belman and Ms. Chesser, the support teachers working alongside Ms. Guerrero. Together, they’re helping make sure every student has the tools and guidance they need to succeed. 🧠✨
Way to go, team! #DaltonReads #WolfIsland #Savvas #TeamTeaching #LiteracyInAction
