đŠđąLion Families,
đWe have decided to postpone our One World Festival & Lantern parade that was scheduled for this Thursday, November 5th. We will reschedule this event at a later date!
đOur Book Fair is still happening in the Media Center this week, and we have decided to stay open until 6:00pm on Thursday, November 5th, in order to give you an opportunity to shop with your Lion if you had already planned to do so that evening. You can park, check-in through the front office, and come shop with us!

đŠđNext week, we are pleased to host our annual One World Festival and Lantern Parade at Brookwood! This event celebrates cultural diversity and allows our Lions and their families to experience other cultures within our Brookwood community. We hope you will attend!
đąIf you would like to showcase something on this night that represents your culture (food, historical items, etc.), please let us know by filling out this form:

đŠđNext week is also our fall Book Fair! If you cannot attend or prefer not to send in money with your child, you can always put money onto an "e-wallet" for your child to spend at the Book Fair. You can load your child's e-wallet here:

âPlease note: the Book Fair will be open in the Brookwood Media Center during the One World Festival and Lantern Parade!

đŠđ¶Furry reminder: Tomorrow from 11:00am - 1:00pm, our 2nd Grade Community Innovators will be at Tractor Supply on Dug Gap Road to host a community fundraising event! We hope you'll stop by, grab a coffee, get a picture with your pet(s), and enter the pet costume contest. Any proceeds will be donated to House of Paws, a local animal shelter. See you there!
đŠđŠșNext week is Safety Week! Let's kick off Monday by wearing your favorite team shirt or jersey.

đPlease note, on Friday, October 30, students are allowed to wear their Halloween costumes if they would like to celebrate. Attached are the costume guidelines that help keep all of our Lions safe!

đŠđOur youngest Lions are in the best hands thanks to our fabulous Brookwood Pre-K staff! Their hearts are all in, and we are so thankful they choose to call Brookwood home!

đŠđą Reminder: Today is an Early Release Day (@12:15 pm) & Monday, September 28, is a Virtual Day for our Lions! We will see you back at Brookwood on Tuesday, September 29!

đŠđLet's celebrate Dalton High School's Homecoming next week with a Red Out on Friday, September 25th!
â°Reminder: This will also be an Early Release Day to allow everyone to prepare for the Homecoming Parade!

đŠđ§Our Lions have entered the construction zone in Career Lab! This week, all of our classes have been learning more about employability skills such as communication, problem solving, and teamwork. They have been given the option to work as an independent contractor or as a company to get their "jobs" completed. We have loved exposing our Lions to a variety of career paths and providing them opportunities to experience "a day on the job."
