Meet Your Teachers and Grade Level Orientations

The first day of School is August 31, 2020.

Morning

Park Creek will open every morning at 7:30 a.m.

For the first two weeks of school, students have been divided into two groups. The first group only comes to school on Monday and Tuesday. The second group will only come to school on Thursday and Friday. All students do digital learning on the days they are not at school. Please contact the school if you are unsure which day you child is to be at school.

Students should enter the building in the morning using the covered entrance by the gym.

All students and staff will answer healh screening questions and have their temperature checked before entering the building. All students and staff are required to wear face masks whenever they are unable to maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet. We understand that our youngest children may be unable to keep a mask on all day and we will not enforce this rule as strictly with students in Pre-K through 2nd grade. However, all students in grades 3-5 will be expected to follow these guidelines.

Students need to be in their rooms by 8:00. A student who arrives after 8:00 a.m. is tardy and will need to use the front entrance under the bell tower to be screened and to get a tardy slip.

In order to keep our students and staff as safe and healthy as possible, parents will not be allowed in the building.

Afternoon

School dismisses at 2:45 p.m.

Kindergarten through 5th grade car riders may be picked up by the gym entrance. Pre-K students and their siblings may be picked up at the front entrance.

Bus rider changes: Dalton Public Schools is following the Department of Family and Children Services recommendation that children younger than 4th grade need to be met at the bus stop by an adult or someone older than 13 years old. If no one is at the bus stop, the bus will return the child to Park Creek and you will be notified that you can pick up your child at school.

ASP: The After School Program (ASP) is available after dismissal until 6:00 p.m.. The cost is $6.00 per day.
